Project Overview

We were contracted to provide drone photography and drone filming on a monthly basis of the demolition and future re-construction of a Travis Perkin store in Cheltenham.

Assessment

As with all potential projects we assess the area, checking whether it is a flight restricted airspace, in this case Gloucester Airport, also checking high ground obstacles such as telephone and electrical masts, as well as being aware of a mobile mast very close to the flight path, we also check for ground obstacles such as buildings whether commercial or residential, etc. We then gather all the information and come to conclusions on how we will mitigate risks, what equipment to use…

• Conclusion: No air restrictions
• Due to density of area, with both commercial and residential activity, a smaller drone was used and we regularly check the safety of our flight path
• We carried out as requested monthly visits with the relevant safety checks

Output

The client requested both drone photographs and drone filming with monthly drone video output, as well as a top down image in pdf format for project management reference for all the team. Our team is highly skilled in various imagery software including Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere, Photoshop… which provide us the tools to output the required deliverables for our clients.

• All video footage is edited in Davinci Resolve and produced for cross-platform reproduction
