Coventry: Time-lapse, Flyover Binley Project

In 2021 we were contacted by our client to provide time-lapse photography and video of the placement of the giant beams to support of flyover on the A46. A National Highways project building the new flyover was part of a congestion-busting £61 million upgrade to alleviate queues for motorists.

The bad weather was even in the news, road closures were made for two weekends to allow installation in two phases, but the weather didn’t help much for the works of for good footage. Extreme gusts and rainfall made things difficult and impossible for drone flights to go ahead when plan.

But after providing our RAMS and our plans for placement, setting up guys for our trailer mast we managed to capture the works that went on those two weekends.
